Okay I LOVE this TTT! I'm super excited for this list but I got to tell you it was hard to come up with. It has to be a book that you love so much you need a show, or a movie, and the book series itself. Like there has to be a strong level of devotion for this to work. So without further ado here is my top ten!

10. The List by Siobhan Vivian. I think this book is such great social commentary. I love everything about this book and I think it's a message that should transcend books and movies. We can judge people as much as we want, but our opinions are baseless unless we know them, which we almost never do. I think that this book as a movie would be a great emotional movie and I would totally watch it.

9. Crash and Burn by Michael Hassan. So this guy, Crash, stopped Burn from bombing the school and so he's all famous and wrote a book. Crash talked about a movie about him coming out. I thought it would be so cool to see that come true. Like actually have a movie about him just like he said in the books you know?

8. Cinder by Marissa Meyer. (Review Here). I would love to see the world that this author created on the big screen. I want to see how cyborgs work, how it all works. I have my imagination and that's enough but it would be cool to see my minds picture projected onto a screen. I feel like its just such a cool retelling with an amazing world.

7. Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Sumna. This books is so creepy and good and crazy and dark and twisty, I LOVE IT! half of me wants this to be a movie so I can have more people to talk to about that twist. It's a crazy a story filled with mystery and it would make a killer thriller.

6. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowel. THIS BOOK IS JUST SO GOOD I CAN'T EVEN DEAL. It's just one of those stories you just love. I love the characters and I honestly think Cath and I would make awesome friends. I even wrote a Harry Potter Fanfic once! lol I think this is a story that should be shared and I love reading it but having it as a movie would just add another way for me to revisit this story.

5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I love this series so much and it would be awesome to see all the action sequences played out, as well as the actual places up on a screen. It's such an amazing story and it would be great to see it played out. Plus I love the characters.

4. Graceling by Kristin Cashore. This would be an action-y, crazy, movie. Kasta is such a kickass, strong, women who can fight her own battles and is smart. She is awesome and I would love to see a movie or show where the main character is a badass woman who is capable, strong, and isn't some damsel in distress. Yes there is romance, and I ship her and Po hardcore, but it's not all there is to this book. There's so much more. Plus Po accepts Kasta and her cold, detached, badass nature, which helps me ship them even harder lol. I would love to see Fire, and Bitterblue as films too obviously but if I talked about all of them It would take up so much space. If you have not read this series, finish this post then run to the closest library or bookstore and get this series. It is amazing!

3. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. I think this would make a better T.V show than a movie but I still love the idea of seeing this on the big screen. A story about a girl who can find dead bodies, and tries to catch a serial killer, all while trying to figure out her own life and feelings for her best friend.I think this would be super cool. Like a crime show but with a paranormal twist.

2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. This series is amazing! Creepy and incing all at once. Like I'm pretty sure I would die if I was in this book, but I love reading about the characters and their lives. It's a story about zombies (unconsecrated) and a broken society. It follows first one group then their kids. It's super interesting and crazy. The romance is on point, it's not the most important thing, but it does play a role.

1. The Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkins. I mean come on. This series is amazing!!! It's got mystery, a cool/creepy factor, romance, paranormal stuff, and awesome, badass characters. Mara is such a great person and I just love her so much and I wish I could give her a hug, actually I wish I could give everyone in this book a hug, well the good guys anyway. I have to say Noah Shaw *swoon* is my favorite. He is just so badass but kind, tough but sweet. You just gotta love him.

Top Ten Tuesdsay

As a YA addict, I love a good romance to fangirl over. If done right, It will make the book that much better for me. If done terribly, i'll probably dismiss the novel as cheesy. So without further ado here are my top five things I hate when it comes to romance and five things I like. 

My Dislikes

1. Insta-Love. This is my all time, I can't even deal, this is too terrible, why is this even happening pet peeve. I hate it. Insta-love is so boring, so unrealistic. It honestly sucks. I like feeling invested in a romance. I want to ship it, I want to be excited for the characters when they go on a first date. But that's not going to happen if they met and .5 seconds later they are madly in love. Now, Insta-attraction is okay. When two characters meet, think the other is cute. Talk, maybe even go out. Insta-Love is when they meet and they're heat skips beats, and they feel like the met the one after exchanging one sentence.It just happens too fast making the romance underdeveloped and pretty much just a story point, instead of being a highlight or even focal point.
2. Underdeveloped Romance. This always makes me sad, because i'll be all invested, fangirling over a couple and the author will put the relationship on the back burner and they never move forward. They get stuck in this one stage until the author is ready to pick up the romance again. I get why sometimes it happens. Especially when the plot is really cray, but it's still frustrating.
3. When Its too cheesy. There's a fine line between being cute and being cheesy. I guess it can be pretty hard to discern because one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to romance when everything feels like it's overdone.  It's okay if you travel to cheesy land every once in a while, but please don't make a permanent residence. 
4. Bad Communication. This makes for such a frustrating read. Romeo and Juliet is a perfect example. If they were less hasty and were able to communicate better then maybe they wouldn't have died. Or Insurgent. I mean could Tris and Tobias have worse communication skills. Literally one of the most frustrating books. All I wanted was for them to be happy, but no, they were hell bent on not talking to each other. 
5. Overdependent Characters. I always dislike when strong characters, typically girls, fall in love and suddenly they become all dependent and damsel in distress-y. Or when characters get put into relationships because they feel like they can't have too strong of a character. (Glee is a perfect example. Whenever one of the girls is doing well, they always need to have a man. No matter how strong, how independent they always get shoved with a guy.It's annoying). 

My Favorite Aspects

1. Hate at first sight. Not really. I love when characters at first don't really like each other, but then see the good in each other and fall in love. This is part of why I LOVE Mara Dyer and Noah Shaw. It just adds dimension to the relationship.
2. Love Triangles. I have a love hate relationship with this, but honestly it adds so much to the book as well as suspense and crazy shipping and yeah...
3. Best Friends to Boyfriend/Girlfriend.  I think this is so cute. If done well, this can be super cute and just amazing. I love how this happens in The Body Finder. It so cute, I can't even deal.
4. When it's NOT the focal point. As much as I love romance, I love when it's not the entire plot. I like when it's a part of the plot but not the most important thing. 
5. Funny + Love. I love when characters are put into funny situations, or they're just funny people. It makes the romance cuter and much more shipworthy.

Blogotber: Halloween Things

I'm not really sure what this posts going to be about. I really am just winging this. I'm going to do a costume reveal later today, so stay tuned! I promise it's as nerdy as you all know me to be. But since my costume reveal is going to be later in the day I figured that maybe I could do two Halloween posts! End blogtober with a bang! Because hey, I survived! I blogged every single day this month!







Here are some Halloween Book recommendations

1. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins. I loovvvee this book with all my heart. It's amazingly written, the plot is outstanding. You really wonder if Mara is insane or if there's something more going on. 
2. The Devouring by Simon Holt. This book honestly scared me. It's so creepy and scary and wow!
3. The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. Zombies. Yeah...
4. The Graveyard Book By Neil Gaiman. I love this book. It's amazing. It's not really scary, but it fits under the "Halloween theme" so here it is!
5. Asylum by Madeleine Roux. THIS BOOK IS INSANE.
6. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. The main character has the uncanny power to find dead bodies. 
7. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Just read it, you won't regret it I promise!

For those of us opting for a night in, but still want to celebrate the great holiday that is Halloween I made a list of must see Halloween movies. Perfect for a Halloween marathon.

1. Pretty much any Harry Potter movie. You could even have just a Harry Potter Marathon.
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas. I don't care how old you are, this movie is awesome and perfect for Halloween and get you in the holiday spirit! 
3. Warm Bodies. There's zombies. That Halloween enough right? 
4. Hocus Pocus. Because let's face it Halloween wouldn't be Halloween without the three Sanderson sisters
5. The Adams Family. It's a perfect, feel good, but still creepy enough movie for Halloween
6. Halloweentown. I looovvveddd these movies as a kid. I still do! 
7. Casper. Becuase who doesn't love a friendly ghost!

Blogtober: Favorite Books

Well, I'm a book blogger. I like books. You could even say i'm borderline obsessed. I can't really pick just one book, it's like asking a mother what child is her favorite. You just can't do that.As of right now I', really loving Contemporary novels and I absolutely love every single one of the books I mentioned on my Top Ten Contemporary Novels. Here are some of my favorite books, in no particular order.

Ever by Gail Carson. This was the book that started it all. My love affair with reading begun with this book. I was about 11 and it took me two days to read it. I was in love with every aspect of the book.

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly. If you've been on my blog before, you know that I love this book to death. I raved about this book so many times. It's amazing! This book got to me and made me see things differently.

Harry Potter Books by J.K Rowling. Because I'm a Harry Potter addict.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. I read this series when I was in fifth grade and I loved every moment of it. The characters are awesome, the storyline is superb, pretty much everything about these books was on point!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Do I really need to explain? Didn't think so.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman. When I think of this book, I think about the aching hurt I felt when I read it. But I also think of hope and love and family. It's a great mix of hope and sadness.

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I read this when I was in fifth grade after finishing the Inkheart Trilogy. I love this series. Its awesome. I've never read a book like this. It's post apocalyptic, but Scott Westerfeld does it so differently!


Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. Because It's one of the best books i've read in a really long time.

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. The Infernal devices is amazing. Every aspect is perfection. But this book in particular stole my heart, destroyed it,  and put it back together. THAT EPILOGUE THOUGH!

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This book is haunting. It makes you think about the things you do, say, even think about other people. It's sad, but it's through that sadness that you can understand the effect you can have on someone.

Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I love this book. My blog is even named after it. It's prose is simple. But nothing about that book is simple. It's so raw, and real, and gritty, that you can't help but love each one of the characters. And as a reader, forming friendships like that with characters, is  all I can ask for.

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. She's one of my favorite authors ever. She's got a great sad, haunting, creepy, but funny way of telling a story. It's pretty awesome. I actually read Ink Exchange first, but as soon as I read WL I was hooked.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. NOAH SHAW. Okay he's not the only reason the books on the list. The series is awesome, but the first book is like WOAH WTF? It's creepy, scary, funny, romantic, cute, in other words the fangirl emotions run high while reading this book!
